Twisted Rope Biscuit

Mum taught me how to make twisted rope biscuit today. The recipe calls for 1kg of flour, 1 block of butter, 3 eggs, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1 big mug of water and 1 cup of grinded toasted sesame. Mix all the ingredients to form a dough.

Run the dough through a pasta machine to form thin strands and roll the strands into twisted rope shapes.

Heat up some oil and fry the ropes until golden brown. Dish out. Heat 1/2 mug of water and 2 tablespoons of sugar in the wok until solution thickens. Then throw the twisted ropes back into the wok and coat them with the sugar solution. Dish out and leave to cool. Ready to serve.
