I remember catching a train to Melbourne with Keith and Marcus to watch the AFL Grand Finals 2006. It was West Coast Eagles (Perth) against Sydney Swans. We were rooting for West Coast of course and they won by a very close margin. It was my first time ever watching the AFL and I enjoyed it.
One year later, we've got Geelong Cats against Port Adelaide in the AFL Grand Finals 2007. Obviously my loyalties will be for the Geelong boys. True to form, they battered the Port Adelaide guys by the biggest margin in AFL history with the match ending 163-44. Go Cats!
